Programa eclèctic i una mica desendreçat en quant a estils musicals. Ja des de l'inici combinem reggae, electrònica, rock americà i brit pop. La proposta reggae de la mà dels Toots and The Maytals, una formació jamaicana molt influent i veterana que encara segueix fent gires i concerts per tot el món. A banda d'ells destaquem aquesta setmana The Hours, Neil Young, Brett Dennnen i Jovanotti amb el seu hit "L'ombelico del mondo" que els que estigueu poc per sota dels 40 recordareu molt bé. Molt destacables i repetint presència, Pearl Jam amb un tros de cançó i els Mishima repassant els seu "Ordre i aventura" d'enguany.

Seguim repassant les noves propostes de Paul Weller i MGMT. Aparexien les novetats de LCD Soundsystem, pioners en la musica disco-pop, els Tindersticks i el seu imponent "Falling down a mountain", Mishima amb dues cançons (2007 i 2010), Band of Horses, els sempre lluminosos Nada Surf versionant l'Enjoy the silence i una meravella com la de Nick Cave que està dins del "Nocturama" (2003) anomenada Bring it on amb una intensitat rockera bestial. Un programa de contrastos que espero agradi a la parròquia virtual.

Benvinguts! Com sempre novetats i clàssics, avui més que mai els segons ja que acabem el programa amb una repassada als millors àlbums dels darrers 25 anys segons la revista Spin. La anirem repassant en successius programes ja que cita els millors 125 albums de la historia, tenim doncs feina per fer però de moment la llista comença amb Achtung Baby dels U2. Combinat amb treballs nous de MGMT, The National, Liars i Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, uns més perdurables que altres, i la fusió dels D' Callaos, un grup de Terrassa que ens porta una magnifica combinació. El contrapunt el dona l'astre intercomarcal com s'autodefineix, Quimi Portet amb el seu disc del 2007 d'influències tocinaires (almenys en el títol).
