En plena ressaca blaugrana i en vistes a seguir amb la festa penjo en horari judicialment atenuant aquest programa. Propostes a tenir en compte sobretot a partir dels dos gran clàssics com són els Pearl Jam i els Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young que obren el pas al retro rockabilly dels Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, el pop independent dels Dandy Warhols, l'elegancia de Richard Hawley i molta atenció, Donavon Frankenreiter amb una bestiesa de cançó -i de disc- i la calma intensa dels americans Tindersticks.

Programa musical no exempt d'actualitat blaugrana degut als esdeveniments dels darrers dies. L'nedemà de l'agònica classificació per la final de la Champions ens tocava fer el programa i un servidor, bufanda al coll, va punxar la selecció triada ple d'eufòria i d'il·lusió. Va sortir el que va sortir i espero que us agradi. Arctic Momkeys, Depeche Mode, Bat For Lashes, Andrés Calamaro, Blur, Antonia Font i The Wave Pictures per citar algunes de les propostes més interessants. Dijous vinent podemn tenir un parell de titols a la butxaca; a l'espera de Roma, Copa del rei i lliga les tenim a tocar. Cronica esportiva també en el següent Sònicpop. Siau.

Nou programa; encara que amb inicis dubitatius degut a un desajust tècnic -solventat tan bé com vàrem saber-, a partir d'aleshores i com a font de motivació cap fet remarcable excepte la música que és la protagonista. Exemples de treballs actuals que val la pena seguir Brian Eno & David Byrne, Elvis Perkins, PJ Harvey & John Parish, Mando Diao, Alela Diane, Howling Bells per triar-ne alguns. Avui també tenim alguns retrocessos encapçalats temporalment per la Creedence, la Joy Division i més proper els Libertines. Espero que en gaudiu.

Bones, estimada audiència virtual. Més música provinent de la discografia entre els anys 2003 i 2007 per part de molt bons musics. Algunes d'ells ja escoltats donat que a l'haver passat alguns anys després de l'edició del treball han sonat a radiofórmules més populars -quantitativament parlant- que la nostra. Permeteu-me quatre noms propis a destacar: Dominique A, un músic francès que beu directament de les fonts del britpop anglosaxó, Micah P. Hinson regalant-nos paisatges tan necessaris com durs amb la seva veu impactant, Blur amb el seu magnific "Modern life is rubbish" on l'herencia rockera més seixantera apareix amb força i els Wilco, fent la seva reinterpretació del rock americà i el country a través del "Yankee hotel foxtrot" del 2002 on hi figura l'inconmensurable "Kamera". Hola Sònics. Aquest és un programa en el que els grans històrics de la música tenen un pes especific important. Hi han tres incunables de la dècada desl 70 per dedicar-hi la màxima atenció; 1- Young Marble Giants amb el seu venerat "Colossal youth", The Band amb "The last waltz", una pel·lícula de Martin Scorsese inspirada en el concert de comiat de la banda on hi van col·laborar grans figures i Toots and The Maytals, un mític grup de reggae que a dia d'avui està en actiu i que el mes següent actuarà en directe a Barcelona. Després grups i musics històrics però amb treballs recents, David Bowie (cal dir res més a banda del seu nom o diversos sobrenoms?) i The Waterboys. La resta propostes novedoses de l'escena actual: ull als Mazoni amb nou treball aquest 2009, Sleepy Jackson, Aaron Thomas i Brett Dennen per citar alguns dels que més m'agraden.

Dia de St Josep, és a dir, dia del meu Sant encara que soc poc donat a creences religioses. Per tant ja em va anar bé fer el programa per enriquie l'esperit després d'un dia contradictori a la feina. Avui començo per citar els clàssics representats pels Jefferson Airplane i Bruce Springsteen, amb cançons de l'any 67 i 72 respectivament. Després propostes absolutament pop que van des de la facilitat majúscula de Neko case, al so garatge més agressiu dels Mando Diao, passant per les atmosferes més ambientals, flotants i electròniques dels Empire Of The Sun. També uns debutants, els The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart (tela de nom), amb una bona proposta musical, el nostre amic Jeremy Jay amb nou disc aquest 2009 i per acabar dos ilustres, Brian Eno i David Byrne amb el projecte de meravellós nom "All that happens will happen today" i un tall anomenat Life is long que segur ens omple de "bonrotllisme". Entre mig de tot això, algunes coses més. Siau.
